Nineteen new financial firms have today joined the Treasury-backed Women in Finance Charter which now covers over 400 firms and 1 million employees.

The Treasury has reported today that 11 new firms have signed up today to its Women in Finance Charter designed to improve the representation of women in senior roles in financial services.

Over 400 financial services firms have signed up to support the Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter but there are signs the progress women have made into moving into more senior positions is beginning to plateau.

Female representation in financial firms is beginning to rise as the Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter begins to have an impact.
