Hargreaves Lansdown has launched a new fund - the HL Global Corporate Bond Fund - as part of its strategy to provide a wider range of portfolio ‘building blocks’ to clients.

After several months in the doldrums, fund sales perked up in October with a surge in bond fund investment.

Tracker fund sales reached an all-time record of £5.7bn in Q2 spurred by a shift by investors into bond funds.
