Latest figures today from ONS show that UK gross domestic product (GDP) in Quarter 4 (Oct to Dec) 2022 was estimated to have grown by 0.1%.

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has been urged to flesh out the growth plan he outlined in January when he announces his Budget in March.

The latest figures from the ONS day show that the UK avoided recession in the fourth quarter of 2022 but there was zero growth.

UK Gross Domestic Product showed a surprise 0.5% rise in May after declining by 0.2% in April (revised from a 0.3% fall).
