The Bank of England is expected to raise interest rates tomorrow (Thursday) by 25 basis points in what could be the 15th rise in a row but it could also be the last rise for a while.

CPI inflation slowed slightly last month, falling to 10.1% in March from 10.4% in February on the back of lower petrol prices.

Inflation rose to 2.7% in August, data released by the Office for National Statistics has revealed.

UK inflation rose to 2.5% in July, after holding steady at 2.4% in the previous three months.
