Financial Planners are forecasting a boom in clients seeking advice on inheritance tax, according to new research.

The Treasury has published over 30 tax updates, consultations and documents, today on what has been dubbed Tax-Day - including plans to tighten tax rules on second properties and simplify inheritance tax red tape.

Over £293bn has been earmarked for younger generations by generous parents and grandparents, with more choosing to gift earlier as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
