CPI inflation remained at 2% in June, the same as May, the ONS reported today. 

CPI inflation continued its rapid downward trend, falling in May to the Bank of England's long-term target of 2% from 2.3% the previous month.

CPI inflation in April fell to 2.3%, down sharply from 3.2% in March, ONS reported today.

The 12 month rate of CPI inflation increased by a surprise 0.1% in December to 4% despite experts predicting a fall to 3.8%.
