India was the best performing investment fund sector over the summer with the infrastructure sector faring the worst, according to new analysis.

The Association of Investment Companies (AIC) - the trade body for the investment company sector - has renamed three of its sectors following a review.

The Investment Association, the fund manager trade body, is to create eight new sectors from the Global and Specialist sectors from 13 September.
