Fake trader Guy Flintham - who splashed out more than £1m of investors' money on a "extravagant lifestyle" - has been jailed for six years over a £19m unauthorised Ponzi-style investment scheme.

The FCA has brought charges against nine people in relation to an unauthorised investment scheme promoted on social media.

The FCA has charged Bruce Rowan, David Simmons, Robert Sweeney and Justin Russell with multiple counts of conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation after they allegedly ran an unauthorised investment scheme accused of defrauding investors out of £3.9m.  

A 46-year-old man has appeared in court in London today charged in connection with a £19m unauthorised investment scheme.
