More than half of people who have some financial responsibility for others (57%) have failed to write a will.

One in ten people expects to have nothing left to leave to loved ones when they die because of rising living costs, according to new research.

More than half the UK population - 29.6m adults - do not have a will, including 36% of the over-55s.

In the past 12 months, since the first lockdown, over a quarter (26%) of adults have written their will or taken action to update an existing will or get advice on wills.
