Acumen selects new MD as founder steps back
Aberdeenshire-based Acumen Financial Planning has promoted Keith Mackie to become its new group managing director.
He replaces well-known founder Sandy Robertson who will remain with the firm but who has stepped back to become group finance director.
Mr Robertson founded the firm in Westhill, Aberdeenshire, in 2002. Since foundation the firm has expanded across Scotland through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth.
Mr Mackie joined Acumen in 2004 and was appointed a director in 2014.

Acumen Financial Planning provides independent financial advice on retirement planning, pensions, investments and estate planning to clients across the UK and currently manages £970m in funds. It is an Accredited and Chartered Financial Planning firm.
The firm is part of The Financial Planning Group, which also includes Acumen Employee Benefits, Medical & Dental, Enrich Tax Consultancy, SpringGen Advice and most recently, Family Wealth.
The group employs 87 people across Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh, Elgin, Glasgow and Peterhead.
