Alliance Trust appoints fixed income specialist to board
Alliance Trust has announced the appointment of Win Robbins as a non-executive director.
Ms Robbins has substantial investment management experience, specialising in the fixed income sector.
Her previous roles include managing director and head of European fixed income at Barclays Global Investors, managing director and head of non-US fixed income at Citigroup and managing director and head of European fixed income at Credit Suisse.

She is currently working as a director at City Merchant High Yield Trust and a non-executive member of the Investment Committee at St James' Place Partnership. She is also trustee director at Now: Pensions Trust and independent trustee at Landesbank Baden-Wurttemburg.
Karin Forseke, chair of Alliance Trust, said: "I am delighted to announce the appointment of Win Robbins to the board of Alliance Trust. Win's extensive experience in the investment management sector, particularly in fixed income, will be especially valuable to us. I very much look forward to working with her."
Ms Robbins will join the company with immediate effect.
The other members of the Alliance Trust Investments board are Ms Forseke, John Hylands, Susan Noble and Alastair Kerr while Katherine Garrett-Cox and Alan Trotter are executive directors.
