Ascentric expands range with addition of legal products
Ascentric had added a range of online legal products to help Financial Planners ensure their clients are properly protected.
Online legal provider Lex Futura has provided the service to the firm to support Financial Planners and their clients.
The legal products include Lasting Power of Attorney, Cohabitation Agreements, Wills and aim to help protect clients against the financial consequences of incapacity and intestacy.
Products are available online and a solicitor will review each case to ensure the clients' needs are met properly.
The three levels of service available- Standard, Premier and Bespoke- mean clients do not pay more if they only have simple requirements.

Dominic Ventham, Ascentric's head of marketing, said: "Lex Futura operates a menu-price system meaning that clients know exactly what each product and service level will cost before they buy. Our job as a platform is to give our advisers as much support as possible and this latest addition extends that support. The best Financial Planning can come to nothing if a client's affairs are not properly protected if they fall ill or pass away."
Michael Yeates, chief executive of Lex Futura, said: "Some 69 per cent of adults don't have a will, even fewer have a LPA. Intermediaries on the Ascentric platform can now move into that gap by adding Lex Futura's products to their range, deepening client relationships and enabling them to help their clients safeguard their families' future finances."
