Atomos hires senior wealth planners
Wealth manager and Financial Planner Atomos has appointed Sean Sims and Bruce Davison as wealth planning director and senior wealth planner at its Fareham office.
They will report to Mike Mason, head of the office.
Sean Sims has joined from Sims Financial Planning, a Southampton-based business he founded more than 25 years ago.
Before that he worked for Sedgwick Noble Lowndes as a financial adviser and he specialises in pre- and post-retirement advice.
Bruce Davison has joined from NFU Mutual where he worked locally on the south coast as a financial adviser for more than 23 years before being made redundant following a re-organisation of its advisory arm.
His expertise is in developing lasting relationships, looking after the needs and aspirations of personal and business clients and their families.
He has a wealth of specialist knowledge, in particular in the areas of retirement planning including SIPPs and IHT planning.
Mike Mason, Head of Atomos’ Fareham office, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Sean and Bruce to our Fareham office, where we are seeing significant growth.
“Both have extensive experience advising clients across the spectrum of financial planning and will make a real impact with people in need of high-quality advice in our area.”
Atomos was formerly known as Sanlam Wealth before being rebranded following completion of its acquisition last year by Oaktree Capital Management.
