Brown Shipley has appointed its chief investment officer into a newly created role of head of IFA investment. Peter Botham has been given the position after seven years in his previous role at the private bank which offers wealth management services including self-administered pension schemes, Financial Planning. Mr Botham will define and create the IFA offering and help deliver it to market. Kevin Doran will replace him as chief investment officer and will assume responsibility for the investment policy committee and in-house fund management. {desktop}{/desktop}{mobile}{/mobile} Mr Doran will also continue to manage the Brown Shipley Sterling Bond Fund, ranked #1 by Lipper in 2013.
