Wealth manager and Financial Planner Brown Shipley has hired experienced Financial Planner Robbie Hewitt to join its Edinburgh office as a wealth planner.

He will report to Gordon Scott, head of Private Bank – North at Brown Shipley, part of Quintet Private Bank.

Mr Hewitt has more than 10 years experience in financial services and joins Brown Shipley from JKFS, a wealth management and corporate solutions provider. Previously he was a mortgage adviser at the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Mr Scott said: “We’re pleased to welcome Robbie to our Edinburgh team. He brings to Brown Shipley significant relevant experience, which he will put to work in collaboration with our client advisers to support the long-term wealth management priorities of our clients.”

Brown Shipley has a history dating back to 1810 and has offices across the UK including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, Edinburgh, Norwich and Nottingham.

Brown Shipley’s parent company Quintet Private Bank is based in Luxembourg.
