The Edinburgh-based Carbon Financial Partners has been named as Chartered Financial Planners of the Year 2015.

The firm, also a finalist in this year’s IFP Accredited Financial Planning Firm awards, received its accolade at the Personal Finance Society awards this week.

Carbon managing director Gordon Wilson said: "I feel so proud accepting this award on behalf of the fantastic team we have at Carbon.

“It is especially rewarding because it is not only about the quality of advice and service we offer clients, but also the contribution we make to both the communities we work in, and to the Financial Planning profession in the UK.”

The PFS Chartered Awards recognise the contribution that Chartered status makes to the reputation of Financial Planning as a trusted and valued profession.
