CashCalc launches iOS and Android app for advisers
Financial Planning software firm CashCalc, recently sold to FE fundinfo, has unveiled an app for iOS and Android which can be used by financial advisers and their clients to improve communication.
The CashCalc app is available to download free from the Apple App Store and Google Play store for smartphones or tablet devices.
The cashflow modelling firm says the development should help financial advisers engage better digitally with their clients.
Clients who download the app and log in to an online portal can communicate and share information with their financial adviser using a computer, laptop and now the app on their smartphone or tablet.
The firm says between January and June of this year, 29% of all logins made by clients to their financial adviser’s portal were done using either a smartphone or tablet.
Chartered Financial Planner Ray Adams, founder of CashCalc, said: “The majority of financial advisers who use CashCalc log in on either a computer or laptop. However, mobile usage among their clients is on the rise and we anticipate this to continue to increase."
The launch follows the completion of stage one of the integration between CashCalc and FE fundinfo. Earlier this month, CashCalc announced that users can now navigate from their CashCalc account to an FE Analytics account via a ‘quick access’ button, as well as use an increased the number of historic funds/benchmarks when applying a variable projection within the Cashflow Modeller.
