Financial Planning firm Cervello has launched a service specifically designed to help employers look after their people.
The Rainham, Essex-based firm has taken on Charlie Goodman to spearhead the the new venture.
Mr Goodman was described as having “many years of experience where he helped employers build compelling employee benefits packages for their staff”.
Chris Daems, director of Cervello, said: “We’ve seen an increase in demand from employers looking to retain, reward and recruit amazing people for their business.”
“It therefore made sense to us to launch a tailor-made proposition specifically designed to help them to do this.
“The service will be ideal for firms who value their teams and work in competitive sectors.
“We also wanted to focus on building an employee benefits proposition in line with our values.
“With our private clients our focus is on helping individuals achieve their financial goals, our new ‘for business’ solution will provide the same bespoke approach to supporting employers keep their best people.”
Mr Goodman said: “I’m really looking forward to working with organisations who are looking to build their teams and look after their people.
“Employee benefits consultancy shouldn’t just be about reviewing your various policies and offering the latest service, but helping you plan around your values and business objectives for the longer term.
“Having advised individuals and provided guidance to employees for well over a decade, I really believe financial education is an essential part of what we should do for employers.
“Organisations can spend a lot on benefits, but if your employees don’t understand what they have and struggle to use
them, the benefits will not achieve what they were designed to.”
