A Cambridgeshire-based Chartered Financial Planner has unveiled a new legal arm after it acquired a local firm.

Jeffrey Mills Solicitors and Winters Legal St Ives merged to form Beacon Wealth Legal Ltd after Beacon, a Chartered Financial Planner in Kimbolton, bought Winters Legal in September.

Beacon says it is “never one to stand still” and was taking on another 10 team members following its latest acquisition.

Tony Larkins group managing director, said: “With the latest addition it was the perfect time for Jeffrey Mills Solicitors to change their name to Beacon Wealth Legal Ltd – something that was in the pipeline, due to them already being on legal boards as this name, since they were first acquired three years ago in 2015.

“The formerly known Jeffrey Mills Solicitors, St Ives office has now also moved into what was Winters Legal office.

“The building is a lot larger, and more centrally located to the town centre, with disabled access and a meeting room on the ground floor, it is perfect for anyone to be able to just drop by and ask legal questions they may have, which is a great addition to be able to offer to our local community.”

Beacon Wealth offers a number of Financial Planning services including savings and investments, estate and inheritance planning and separation and divorce.
