Children in Need mascot Pudsey Bear got an insight into Financial Planning when he popped in to Cambridgeshire-based Beacon Wealth Management.
Pudsey was said to have had “a fantastic time with Beacon Wealth Group” when he visited the local area in the last week, in the run up to BBC Children in Need tonight.
Pudsey Bear attended Kimbolton fireworks and visited local schools, pre-schools, nurseries and the Holly Ward at Hinchingbrooke hospital.
The theme this year for Children in Need is ‘Do Your Thing’ and the team at Beacon Wealth Group came up with a Pudsey Bear song to raise awareness and cash for the charity.
Local school children have been learning the British Sign Language actions and singing and dancing with Pudsey.
Tony Larkins, Beacon Wealth managing director said: “We like to be part of the community and get involved with local schools and the hospital to give back a bit of enjoyment to the children, while raising money and awareness for a good charity.
“Children in Need is such a fantastic cause we are delighted we have been able to do this over the last 10 years and working with the BBC for the last seven years we have raised thousands of pounds over the years and will continue to do so.”
This year’s fundraising efforts are still being calculated.
