The managing director of a Cambridgeshire-based Chartered Financial Planner has been appointed the new chairman of a regional PFS committee.
Tony Larkins, managing director of Beacon Wealth Management has been selected as the new chairman for the Personal Finance Society Stamford Regional committee, replacing Mark Nind.
He has been a member of the PFS for several years and a vice chair for five years, and as of this month takes the place of chairman.
The PFS promotes the highest standards of professionalism for technical knowledge, client service and ethical practice across the entire financial advice community for the ultimate benefit of the profession and consumers alike.
The PFS has also opened up a new position within the society; young professional officer.
Tom Kenny, an adviser at Beacon Wealth Management, has been selected for the post.
The position has been set up to encourage and support young professionals into the financial industry.
