The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has appointed Timothy C Boles Chartered FCSI, FRGS, FRSA, FInstLM, as president of CISI’s Isle of Man branch committee.
He takes over from Paul Kneen Chartered FCSI, from Pacific Fund Systems Europe Ltd, who held the position for the previous two years.

Commenting on his appointment Mr Boles said: “I am honoured to be taking up the role of President of CISI (Isle of Man branch).
“My predecessor Paul created an environment of useful and engaging study via regular CPD which I will continue to build upon.
“I note that the Isle of Man leads the way across the regions in terms of responses and take-up of regular CISI CPD events.
“We are also launching an innovative schools programme of GCSEs and A levels in financial studies together with The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LBIF) across the island.”
Jim Winter, CISI head of UK Business, said: “We are delighted to welcome Tim as our new Isle of Man branch President and would like to thank Paul for his leadership and dedication throughout the past two years with the branch. We look forward to supporting Tim with his plans for the committee in his new role.”
