Cofunds helping advisers with transition to fees via nationwide workshops
Independent platform Cofunds is holding a series of workshops during May and June on the transition to fees.
The ‘Fee Challenge Training’ workshops will run from 1 May to 21 June in 15 UK cities.
Sessions will cover how to set up and manage fee models on the platform, create segments on the platform and link them to fee models and how to segment client bases and build an appropriate service model.
Delegates will also be able to hear from workshop sponsors including Threadneedle, Investec, Legal and General Investment Management and GAM.
Stephen Wynne-Jones, head of marketing at Cofunds, said: “When you boil it down, a platform’s job is to enable the adviser to focus on their clients and what they value most – time with their adviser.
“So taking that as the underlying consideration for activity in the run-up to RDR implementation, we’ve dedicated our time to helping advisers to ride the RDR wave through technology, service and practical support.
“We understand that by supporting our customers through the changes in regulation and the changes to their business models, platforms can help them to build the foundations for their future business.”
Sessions will begin in Durham on 1 May then visit Leeds, Taunton, Gloucestershire, London, Preston, Norwich, Hemel Hempstead, Knutsford, Solihull, Leicester, Fareham, Horsham, Edinburgh before ending in Belfast on 21 June.
