Delegate advice from the IFP ahead of Annual Conference
The Institute of Financial Planning has issued some useful information for the 600+ delegates heading to the IFP conference from 1-3 October.
There is now less than three days to go until the 'Inspiring Trust' conference begins next week. Registration will be open from 11.30am on Monday and the official conference will begin at 12.30pm.
How-to sessions on topics such as Twitter, due-diligence, tax planning and retirement options will run from 1.45pm until 3.45pm.
Speakers at these sessions include Abbie Tanner from A Business Innovation, Fraser Donaldson from Defaqto and Brett Davidson from FP Advance. Accredited Financial Planning Firms should arrive earlier than this for an exclusive session at 10.00am.
The IFP has advised delegates to check the programme before arriving at the conference to plan which sessions to attend.
The full programme is available to view at www.financialplanning.org.uk/conference
The final session will be at 12.30pm on Weds 3 October with a speech from keynote speaker Jacqueline Gold from the Ann Summers group.
The IFP has also given a handy checklist of things not to forget to bring to the conference.
The list includes mobile phone charger, business cards and diary and gym kit. The gala dinner is black tie so delegates should remember to bring their dinner suit or formal wear, cufflinks and evening dress.
