Entries open for IFP Paraplanner of the Year award
Entries are now open for this year's Paraplanner of the Year award being run by the Institute of Financial Planning.
The award tests Paraplanners' technical and creative writing skills and also requires a testimonial from a Financial Planner they have worked with.
The award was launched by Richard Allum of theparaplanners.com in 2008. Previous winners include Jane Holt of Mackenzie Financial Planning and Gary Tunstall CFPCM from Para-Sols.
Judges are Steve Gazzard, IFP interim chief executive, Mr Allum and Patrick Ingram from Parmenion which is sponsoring the award.

Prizes include £1,000 cash, a full pass and accommodation to the IFP annual conference and access to Wizard Learning. There will also be an award for the candidate with the highest score on the technical assessment who will win £1,000 in Wizard Learning training credits.
The awards are open to employed Paraplanners as well as those working freelance or outsourced. They do not have to be IFP members.
Entries will close on 6 September, although the last day to register to enter is 28 August, and the winner will be notified by 23 September then formally announced at the IFP conference.
