Evelyn Partners hires Planner for East Midlands expansion
Evelyn Partners, the new name for Tilney Smith & Williamson, has made one of its first post-rebrand appointments with the hiring of Nick Parkes as a Financial Planner for the firm’s growing Nottingham office.
The Financial Planning and wealth management firm says the move is part of its expansion in the East Midlands.
Mr Parkes joins Evelyn Partners from Ryley Wealth Management where he obtained Chartered Financial Planner status in November 2021.
In March this year he was awarded Fellowship of the PFS having completed 8 qualifications in 8 months, including 5 at Advanced Diploma Level. He focuses on IHT planning and pensions, particularly Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), Small Self Administered Schemes (SSAS) and trust work.
He will be based at Evelyn Partners’ Nottingham office at Loxley House, Riverside Business Park, which offers services including investment management, investment advisory and Financial Planning.
Craig Richards, head of Evelyn Partners’ Nottingham office, said: “I am delighted to welcome Nick to our Financial Planning team in Nottingham. We have ambitious plans to continue growing in the East Midlands and Nick’s experience and expertise will be instrumental in enabling us to provide more clients with high quality financial advice.”
Mr Parkes added: “I’m thrilled to be joining Evelyn Partners as part of the Nottingham office, and I’m excited to be a part of their expansion in the East Midlands at such an important time in the company’s history. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with clients and to continue to provide them with the high-quality financial advice which is synonymous to Evelyn Partners”.
