Expanding IFA makes new hire in Dorset
Dorset-based IFA firm Wilcox Young has boosted its team with the appointment of independent financial adviser Steve Hover.
Mr Hoverwas said to be bringing “wide-ranging experience gained within the banking sector and many years practice as an independent financial adviser based on the South Coast”.
He began his career at NatWest Bank, becoming one of its flagship financial advisers when the bank introduced its Financial Services Division, and later moved to an independent advisory consultancy based in Romsey.
In total, Mr Hover has around 27 years' experience working as a financial adviser and was described as “a welcome addition to Wilcox Young”.
He is the third financial adviser to join the growing team in 2019.
Mr Hover said: “I have always appreciated that there is a great responsibility involved in advising on and managing clients’ money.
“My ethos is to provide a practical, individual service. Taking time to understand clients’ objectives is crucial to gaining their confidence, so that they can get on the right financial path for the future they are looking for.
“I moved from London to Dorset in my twenties.
“It was a change moving to the region, but I enjoyed it so much I have been here ever since.
“I am absolutely delighted to be joining the team at Wilcox Young at this point in my career and am looking forward to many years of service with them.”
