A senior Financial Planner specialising in investments for high net worth clients has been chosen to head up the Edinburgh branch for an advice firm.
LEBC Group has appointed Drew Irving as the new head of its Edinburgh office, which was one of LEBC’s founding branches in 2000. His appointment follows the retirement of previous head Colin Cameron.
Mr Irving joined national IFA LEBC in July 2014 as a senior financial planner. Prior to that he worked for Scottish Life/Royal London for 24 years working in pensions administration, marketing, sales and then as executive consultant in Scotland.
He then worked for independent financial advisers Creative Benefits covering Scotland as an employee benefits consultant. He specialises in pensions and investments for high net worth clients and also full employee benefits for large corporate clients.
Mr Irving said: “My plans are to build on the strong growth achieved by Colin Cameron at branch level as well as the company as a whole.
“We are looking at achieving a record year as a branch and I want that to continue and grow the business year on year."
The company has plans to add to its adviser team, he added.
