Financial Planner Online gets raft of enhancements for 2013
Financial Planner Online has been refreshed and updated for 2013 with a host of improvements.
Among the changes are:
• speed improvements throughout the site
• new-look, crisper homepage with an improved layout allowing more stories to be shown on one page
• new top-of-page icon shortcuts to a range of tools and services including our popular Digital Edition of the print magazine
• improvement to other section layouts allowing more content to be seen on one page
• improvements to the Stock Market indices module
• extra social media tools on news stories allowing you to Tweet or add stories to your favourite social media service
• improved ContactUs section with more details of how to get in touch
• a brand new mobile version of the site for smart phone users – just access the site via your smart phone
Other improvements include a simpler email newsletter sign-up, improved Latest News section and cleaner look on key sections. Further enhancements will be made during 2013 as we strive to make the site the best source for news and information for Financial Planners and IFP members.
Kevin O'Donnell, Editor of Financial Planner Online and Financial Planner magazine, said: "As the profession of Financial Planning moves into the post-RDR world we know that our users will expect a slick and professional site with lots of useful information and tools and these changes will help us bring an even better service to users.
"Financial Planner Online is now regularly attracting well over 3,000 users a month and over 250,000 page impressions and traffic is more than three times the level of last year with numbers growing strongly. We'll be continuing to update and improve the site to reinforce Financial Planner Online's position as a leading site for Financial Planning news in 2013."
