Financial Planning exec to be Financial Services Ambassador
Jessica Dodds ACIM, marketing manager at Chartered and Certified Financial Planning firm Manse Capital, is to take on the role of Financial Services Ambassador for the Chartered Institute of Marketing Yorkshire Board.
Ms Dodds joined Leeds-based Manse in January 2017 and will combine the ambassadorial role with her job at Manse. She will represent CIM in the financial services arena in Yorkshire and organise events and activities for the financial services sector, as well as championing professional marketing best practices.
She has been working in financial services marketing since 2014, designing and managing multi-channel campaigns in the UK, Australia and the US. She has experience in B2C and B2B and working with different audiences, said the CIM.
Prior to working in professional services, she studied English at Sheffield Hallam University where she currently mentors a number of marketing students. She completed her Diploma in Professional Marketing with CIM in 2016.
Ms Dodds said: “I am really excited about this new opportunity to promote CIM within the financial services sector and look forward to sharing my experience, knowledge of the sector and contacts with the marketers of the Yorkshire region.
“I am passionate about creativity and originality and believe there is a lot of opportunity for financial services marketers to drive more targeted and imaginative campaigns. With a wealth of opportunity with the likes of Leeds as a big city hub for professional services, I am incredibly proud to be working with CIM to encourage, engage and inspire the marketing talent in the region.”
Diane Earles, network manager for CIM, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Jessica to the board and to be able to focus on this key sector for Yorkshire.”
