Birmingham-based Financial Planning firm Clay Rogers and Partners has joined Succession Advisory Services. Midlands firm Clay Rogers has almost doubled its funds under management to £450m in the last five years and hopes to prosper further by becoming part of Succession, an adviser consolidation firm. Mark Rogers, managing director at Clay Rogers, said: "Becoming a member of Succession is a complementary position for our business following a period of sustained growth. "We have a very clear vision to develop our proposition and the specialist team at Succession will provide the consultancy and support to help us achieve our long-term goals." {desktop}{/desktop}{mobile}{/mobile} He hopes Clay Rogers' 30 strong team will build "productive and profitable relationships" alongside Succession's 60 member firms. Simon Chamberlain, chief executive of Succession, said: "Our partnership with Clay Rogers clearly demonstrates that the Succession proposition is attractive to the biggest and best Financial Planning and wealth management firms in the UK." Succession is seeking companies that want to "continue to grow value rather than exit the industry", he added, with the aim of capitalising the group at the end of 2017.
