Five firms recognised as Accredited Financial Planning Firms
Five more firms have been added to the Institute of Financial Planning’s Accredited Financial Planning Firms register bringing the total to 33.
The five new firms are Tower Hill Associates in Surrey, HC Wealth Management in Windsor, Central Financial Planning in Solihull, Manse Capital in Leeds and The County Partnership in Cheltenham .
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, said: “We continue to see a steady stream of excellent Financial Planning firms entering their applications to join this elite group.
“I’m delighted that such good progress is being made already in establishing Accredited Firms as the ultimate standard of excellence for Financial Planning firms to aspire towards.”
The new firms bring the total number of Accredited Financial Planning Firms to 33 nationwide.
To be recognised as an Accredited Financial Planning Firm, firms must show they follow the IFP’s code of ethics and practice and demonstrate the highest standards of Financial Planning practice.
At least half of the firm’s staff must be CFPCM qualified.
The new entries follows the success of the IFP’s Financial Planning Week last week to help consumers gain access to Financial Planning and improve their financial ‘fitness.’
Mr Cann said: “The success of last month’s Financial Planning Week campaign shows that there is a real need for consumers to gain access to appropriate Financial Planning services.
“These firms, alongside all CFPCM professionals, are ideally placed to deliver that.”
A full register of Accredited Financial Planning Firms is now available on the IFP website.
