Former Ascentric chairman Hugo Thorman has been appointed chairman of Altus, the financial services consultancy and software business.

Mr Thorman brings over 25 years of financial services experience to Altus, with expertise in platforms, proposition development and implementing business strategy.

Mr Thorman said: “This is an incredibly exciting time in the retail financial services sector. The rapid pace of change gives flexible, innovative businesses the opportunity to implement new solutions and move with the market.
