Fourth new chair in 2 years for Transact’s parent
Law firm partner Richard Cranfield is set to become the next chairman of platform Transact’s holding company IntegraFin.
He will replace interim Christopher Munro in the near future and joins the board today as a non-executive director and chair-elect.
Mr Cranfield will be the fourth chairman for Integrafin in the past two years.
Patrick Snowball was appointed non-executive chairman in 2017 as the firm prepared for a stock market listing in 2018. He took over from then chairman and founder Mike Howard who stood down to become an executive director. Mr Snowball was then replaced by Mr Munro.
Mr Cranfield is, and will continue to be, a partner in City law firm Allen and Overy LLP.
The company says that following a handover period, Mr Cranfield will take over the role of chair from Christopher Munro, who has been interim chair since September 2018.
The company says that the chair’s responsibilities will pass to Mr Cranfield at or around the time of the company's financial year end in the autumn.
IntegraFin has also appointed Robert Lister as a non-executive director from today.
He is currently a non-executive director of Credit Suisse Asset Management, Investec Wealth and Investment and chair of the board of directors of the Aberdeen Smaller Companies Income Trust PLC. He is also a director of The Salvation Army International Trustee Company.
