Gini Bolton wins IFP Branch Chairman of the Year Award
Gini Bolton CFPCM, of Fiscal Engineers in Nottingham and chair of the IFP East Midlands branch, has won the 2013 Branch Chairman of the Year Award.
She was presented with the award at the conference by IFP President Rebecca Taylor FIFP CFPCM.
This award is made each year to the IFP branch chairman whose contribution has been judged by the IFP as being particularly outstanding over the past year. In 2012, the award was won by Claire Menni, who at the time was chairman of IFP's Surrey Branch, and has subsequently taken over as London branch chairman.
Gini Bolton said: "Having taken over the East Midlands branch for the IFP and moved it to a new location in Nottingham, I am really honoured to have won the Branch Chairmen's award from the IFP. This is especially so, bearing in mind the quality of all the branch chairmen who give their time and effort to running the branches.
"The meetings provide fantastic support for IFP members to be able to share ideas and to listen to a range of excellent speakers who, very importantly, aren't simply promoting a 'product'. The quality of speakers is excellent - many of whom offer their services free of charge. The meetings offer not only CPD for members, but also the opportunity to network and share best practice ideas with their peers. We are extremely grateful for the sponsorship we receive, not only from our annual branch sponsor (Transact) but also from a number of companies, which help us to run this successful branch in such a prestigious location."

Steve Gazzard CFPCM, chief executive of the IFP, said: "Our congratulations go to Gini for winning this award which is well deserved. On behalf of everyone at the IFP, in particular our members, I'd like to thank all our branch chairmen for the fantastic job they do in providing the key links between the membership and the IFP.
"As well as providing an excellent means of gaining relevant yet practical CPD, these meetings are the ideal way for Financial Planners and Paraplanners to share best practice and learn from peers and other experts from across the Financial Planning community."
