IFP Scottish Conference gets under way in Glasgow
The IFP's two-day Scottish Conference was opened at the Marriott Glasgow today (14 Nov).
Today sees a Best Practice workshop kick things off on Monday 14 November and will be one of many business and training based sessions. Alan Dick CFPCM will look at how he works with clients to draw out what are acceptable levels of risk to take in building financial plans while Ian Laverty will focus on marketing and Jonathan Gibson CFPCM will give an insight into joint ventures. Cashflow modelling will be unravelled by Sandy Robertson FIFP, CFPCM of Acumen Financial Planning
On Monday evening there will be a networking dinner and drinks so that attendees can get to know each other in a more informal setting.
The main Scottish conference day on the Tuesday is worth 8.0 CPD points. The day starts with a networking breakfast at 08:45, followed by sessions from 09:30 to 16:30.Sessions include:
