Sheffield-based Hamnett Wealth Management has been awarded the Chartered Financial Planner Firm title by the Chartered Insurance Institute.
The Chartered Financial Planner Firm title is an exclusive title with fewer than 700 firms awarded the title to date. Chartered Financial Planner members and Chartered Financial Planner Firms are part of the Personal Finance Society, which is part of the CII.
Launched in 1988, the wealth management firm offers financial advice services for individuals, business owners and trustees across a number of Financial Planning areas.
Chartered Financial Planner and director of Hamnett Wealth Management Jonathan Rowley, said: “Securing Chartered Financial Planners status is a landmark for the company.

Recently more than 500 personal finance professionals have signed up to the Chartered Insurance Institute’s new pension transfer qualification.
A number of industry professionals have enrolled onto the new Level 4 certificate in pension transfers advice, which includes a new Level 6 unit on pension transfers, and three existing CII level 4 units. These are: financial services, regulation and ethics, investment principles and risk, and pensions and retirement planning.
