Hoxton Wealth adds Financial Planner to UAE team
International Financial Planning firm Hoxton Wealth has added experienced Financial Planner Dewi Evans to its Dubai-based team.
Mr Evans is an associate member of the CISI and has more than seven years of experience in Financial Planning, the last six of which have been in providing wealth advice in Dubai.
Mr Evans said: "I think our industry can be outdated and sluggish, many clients are left feeling unsatisfied with the advice they receive, as it can lack personalisation to their needs. Hoxton breaks this stereotype by integrating technology into the client experience, ensuring that interactions are not only more efficient but also more meaningful.”
Hoxton Wealth was known as Hoxton Capital Management until it rebranded in August. The company said that its new branding will help ensure that clients who are internationally-minded have a place alongside clients who would just like to be more focused on their domestic presence. The forefront of its new direction is its Financial Planning app.
Mr Evans said: “The app, along with other cutting-edge tools will encourage clients to engage more actively in their Financial Planning, allowing them to take more control of their finances."
Chris Ball, managing partner at Hoxton Wealth, said: “As a company we always want to provide clients with the highest levels of service, wherever in the world they happen to be living, and are committed to showing how technology can not only add value to that service but also enhance a person’s ability to plan their financial future."
UAE-based Hoxton has offices in the USA, Australia, South Africa and in Europe and is expanding in the UK. It was set up in 2018 by British expatriate Mr Ball, formerly of deVere Group. It employs 300 staff worldwide.
In June Hoxton Capital Management acquired London and Southend IFA Devine Financial Management. It was the third deal in three months for Hoxton and pushed its AUM to £1.6bn, a 30% increase in one year, Hoxton said.
In April, Hoxton added more than 380 clients with the acquisition of two UK-based Financial Planning firms. It acquired £80m AUM Dudley-based Alpha Financial Services and Guildford-based Bartholomew Financial Planning.
