IFP board election results announced
Following the IFP membership election which took place over the summer months, the names of the three CFP professionals chosen from six candidates standing for election were announced at the IFP Annual General Meeting today.
The following members were elected to serve as directors:
• Martin Ruskin CFPCM – Paradigm Norton
• Craig Palfrey CFPCM of Penguin Wealth
Also, Andrew Brook-Dobson CFPCM of Brook-Dobson Brear had come to the end of his initial term as a director, but decided to seek re-election in which he was successful. Andrew will continue to serve on the IFP Board, and as chair of the IFP ethics committee. These two new directors plus Andrew, will join the board for its 2015 strategy meeting in November. As well as being CFP professionals, both Martin and Craig represent businesses which are IFP Accredited Financial Planning FirmsTM.

Steve Gazzard, CEO of IFP said: "As is often the case with IFP board elections, the final result was very close. We were pleased to see that six excellent candidates drawn from all quarters of our profession were nominated to stand for the three available places on the board.
