IFP branch network looking for new chairmen
There is less than a week to go for IFP members to put themselves forward to stand as a chairman for an Institute of Financial Planning branch.
The IFP has 22 regional branches around the UK which allow Financial Planners to network and benefit from formal presentations, debates and talks.
Chairmen are elected to serve for two years and get involved in planning programmes, choosing speakers and holding branch meetings.
It is a great opportunity to help the growth of the Financial Planning profession and build relationships with fellow planners in the area.
For IFP members interested in being a branch chairman, 10 branches are open for election.
These are:
- Chester and North Wales
- East Anglia
- Essex
- Kent and Sussex
- Lancashire and Cumbria
- Leeds
- London
- North East
- South West
- Surrey
Alternatively, if there is not a branch near you then there is potential to set up a new branch, says the IFP.
If you are considering standing for a branch, then contact Rachel Weihs at the IFP by 25 May with brief details of what you think you could bring to the role.
Nominations will be reviewed by the IFP on 8 June and final decisions will be made by the IFP Board.
