Two Financial Planning leaders are speaking in Israel today on the development of CFP certification in the region.
Nick Cann is chief executive of the Institute of Financial Planning while Noel Maye is chief executive of the global Financial Planning Standards Board.
The pair will be speaking to delegates at the Union of Financial Planners of Israel in Tel Aviv.
Mr Cann will tell delegates about the UK's regulatory environment and the impact of these changes on Financial Planning practices in the UK.
Mr Maye will be updating attendees on the global developments in the profession and FPSB's work to bring CFP certification to the region.
IFP President Marlene Shalton FIFP CFP
CM is also joining Mr Cann on the trip.
The meeting follows a FPSB session in Dubai back in May which explored opportunities to bring Financial Planning to the Middle East, the first time a meeting had been held in the region.
In November, the Union of Financial Planners of Israel petitioned FPSB to join the organisation as an Associate Member. The IFP is a full member of the FPSB.
