Bath branch kicked off 2013 in style, welcoming South West branch chairman Pete Matthew CFP^CM as part of his "world tour" in January, reports Andrew Page CFP^CM.
That's if Cardiff, Bath and Exeter count as the world that is!
Pete has developed a high profile reputation from deepest Cornwall through using online tools. It was so interesting for us to hear how and why he has done this and what success it has brought him.

Pete talked through the benefits of using modern technology, for example video, blogs, social media and podcasts to reach more people, and to get our messages across.
He sees the internet not as a leveller but more as an opportunity to be heard easily and cheaply, both locally and on a wider basis.
The meeting was full of extremely useful information, tips and inspiration and many of the attendees left with big plans for their own businesses.
Pete was very open and helpful which again proves what a useful forum branch meetings are. I've certainly got lots of exciting action points from his session to take forward as I'm sure most of the other attendees do too.
