East Midlands IFP members met on 11 September and were very fortunate in having two excellent speakers – both very different, but each very interesting around their particular subject, writes Gini Bolton CFPCM.
Greg Davies, of Barclays Wealth, spoke about investor behaviour and how to achieve anxiety adjusted returns. He ran through the experiences we do invest on, versus those we should invest on – which as we are human, can be very different. A fascinating talk and judging from
the feedback, everybody agreed.
Our second speaker, David Scarlett got us all thinking about our own working practices and what 'noise' and interruptions we all get throughout the day and some insight into how we can deal with this to improve our lives.

We should all hopefully be able to get to a position of being able to work four days a week, with those working days being much more profitable and streamlined. It sounds easy doesn't it?
As ever, we continue to encourage
everyone at the branch to bring colleagues along to network with their peers and share best practice ideas.
