Ethical conduct is a hallmark of any profession and Financial Planning is no exception. The FSA expects members to do the best for their clients and demonstrate strong ethical behaviour as a core part of their overall competence and professionalism.
On the 26 April, the IFP will be holding a conference on ethics and practice standards which will help you uphold these key principles and get you thinking about the way you work. Firms that are seen to treat their clients fairly and demonstrate a good standard of ethical behaviour should build a reputation and have the competitive advantage.
Expert speakers, including Adam Samuel and Simon Collins of Resources Compliance, will share ideas to take you out of your comfort zone, challenge your thinking, and help you focus on providing excellent client service.
Also confirmed is Satish Kumar, a former monk and long-term peace and environment activist who will hare his inspiring life story and ideas for ethical living.
This important event is also an opportunity to pick up valuable CPD in ethics.
