This month sees the launch of the prestigious Financial Planner of the Year Awards 2012.
The IFP is working with Money Management Magazine again this year to deliver the ultimate in adviser awards. They are based on candidates’ detailed responses to one of a series of case studies using no more than 2,500 words. All case studies have been supplied by the IFP and will challenge your knowledge and skill as a planner.
Candidates can select from a range of case studies but those entering three of these or more will be considered for the overall Financial Planner of the Year award.
This has a significant prize of £5,000 as well as the kudos of winning. Having won the title in 2010 and 2011 Matthew Hodge CFPCM is clearly the one to beat. Awards will be presented at The Dorchester in November.
Sue Leech, IFP education director, said: “Entering certainly involves hard work, but it’s a great opportunity to establish yourself among the Financial Planning elite as well as to prove your abilities to your clients and prospective clients. It also qualifies for unstructured CPD.”
Entries close on 17 August.
