With more and more IFP members accessing information while on the move through smart phones and other mobile devices, the IFP has been working on changes to its website to improve the access for such users.
The IFP has developed a ‘mobile’ version of the IFP website that features the most popular pages of the site. Among these are events, branch meetings and membership matters.
Access to “UnCANNed” the popular weekly blog from IFP chief executive Nick Cann will also be available. The changes will be available from April.
Mobile users will have the ability to register their interest in attending events / branch meetings, joining the IFP, calling the office or making email contact directly.
Lucy Dolben, marketing manager at the IFP, said: “We hope to expand the services for mobile users still further later this year, in particular for the general public side of our website too which is gaining increased popularity with consumers using it to search for CFPCM professionals and Accredited Financial Planning FirmsTM.”
