The IFP has been actively involved in supporting the launch of the Question of Trust campaign, the brainchild of Shane Mullins from Fiscal Engineers Ltd, an Accredited Financial Planning FirmTM based in Nottingham.
It aims to actively encourage a broad range of financial services organisations to focus on the needs of the consumer in order to build trust and consumer engagement more effectively across the sector.
Nick Cann, chief executive of IFP, is the co-founder of this campaign, one of the most important initiatives seen across the financial services profession for many years.
Mr Cann said: “Following the letter sent in February to over 300 CEOs of leading organisations and the positive media and online coverage of recent weeks, we’ve been delighted to see so many people and firms show their support. In particular the support shown by IFP members has been welcome as has the involvement of a number of MPs.”
A press conference has been arranged for May and further activities are planned in coming months.
