Mr Nixon will be chief executive of IWP’s regional office headquartered in Truro in Cornwall, branded as Kelsall Steele Investment Services, to drive IWP’s growth in the South West.
Kelsall Steele Investment Services (KSIS) was established in 1997 and the business now has more than £95m in funds under management and a team of four advisers along with Paraplanners and an administrative team.
Further acquisitions are expected to expand KSIS, according to IWP CEO David Inglesfield.

He is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Insurance Institute.
Mr Nixon said: “In joining Kelsall Steele Investment Services, I am focused on continuing to build on the exceptional local brand and team, established by Lucien and Chris, that conveys quality and a client-centered approach to financial planning.
"IWP has a unique approach to acquisitions and I’m excited to work with their IFAs across the UK, leveraging the infrastructure provided for KSIS to continue to grow and give clients the excellent Financial Planning service they expect.”
