A pair of Chartered Financial Planners who sold their previous business to 1825 have founded a new Raymond James wealth management branch in Barbican, London.
Tony Moss and Robert Goldschmidt were the founders of Cumberland Place Financial Management which was acquired by the Financial Planning arm of Standard Life Aberdeen in 2018.
They will be supported by the Raymond James Barbican Investment committee which includes Premier Milton multi-asset manager and former head of equities at M&G, David Jane, and former Premier Miton fund manager Simon Evan-Cook.
They will also be joined by Jonna Danes, a former Charles Stanley investment manager with 20 years of experience working with private clients.
Mr Moss said: “Robert and I have worked together for many years and over that time we have learnt to surround ourselves with talent and expertise, which is exactly what we are doing with this new business.”
The pair said by working with Raymond James they are able to run their own business but with the backing and oversight of a Fortune 500 company.
