Fintech and data firm Defaqto has added investment trust reviews to its qualitative reviews for financial advisers.

Defaqto has added the reviews due to increased consumer demand for investment trusts.

The Investment Trust Reviews will provide a quantitative overview of an investment trust including performance, charges, asset allocation, gearing and discount to net asset value.

They will also provide qualitative information obtained through interviews with the managers.

The qualitative information with cover the manager’s investment philosophy, their people and the process they employ. They will also include information on research capability, resources they have at their disposal, and how they manage risk.

The reviews are available on Defaqto’s adviser website and through its Financial Planning software Defaqto Engage.
